Finally it’s here. We promise to give you a free trial for V.I.P membership if you’ll do something tiny for us: you need to invite 100 players to the UGC group. We’ll reward your dilligence with a 14 day trial V.I.P Membership!

Let me remind you what V.I.P members can do:

Kick people who are breaking the rules.
Change the map
Create votes for any subject they want
Use special chat privileges and so on
Wear the special tag: [UGC - V.I.P]! (Remember: all V.I.P member names will be listed on the UGC profile. If you’re wearing V.I.P tag without a V.I.P membership, you might get a permanent ban on the UGC server.)

To continue your V.I.P membership you have to donate at least 1€. If you wont donate, we’ll remove your V.I.P membership right after your trial has ended. Did you invite people before this “competition”? Don’t worry, all invites inside 2 weeks (before January 26th) will be counted. Invites over 2 weeks ago unfortunately will not be counted. When you’re done, contact us. Add xerox [UGC] or bumuckl [UGC] [USC] to your friendlist. If you’re too shy to contact us via steam you can also write an email and send it to bumuckl+ugc@gmail.com or to xeroxugc@gmail.com.

Well is it? If it is, we have got another option for you: V.I.P membership. By donating 1€ you’ll be V.I.P member on the ugc server and on the ugc group for one month, by donating 2€ for two months (or admin rights for one month), 3€ for three months and so on. V.I.P members have limited admin rights on the ugc server, this means they’re not allowed to do everything an admin can do. The Prison Break Event

“It’s new years, 2011 has just begun. Everybody is having good time with his family, shooting fireworks and so on.

Meanwhile in a cold land with its hundred of high mountains, in the prison, middle of nowhere, prisoners have just finished their lunches and now they’re in their cell rooms again.

Those prisoners have been planning the escape for over a month now. At the lunch one prisoner disguised as guard, went to the arsenal, took the weapon crate and brought it to one of the cell rooms where he hid it under the bed. Also he manipulated the machine that locks all the cell doors.

The moment is close. Guards are trying to close the cell doors but the doors wont lock.
Like lightning, the prisoners open the crate, take guns and start the escape…”

Will the prisoners get out of the prison alive? You’ll decide it – come to play “The Prison Break” with us on January 2nd!

UGC Halloween plans: Halloween event and cp_manson_event only map (till Nov 8th)

Hello Community! We, the administrators of UGC, have planned some really cool things – or should I say scary things – to happen on Halloween and afterwards!

Regarding the cp_manson_event map: A’right! We’ll run the cp_manson_event map till November 8th. Afterwards we’ll run our normal official map: dm_duel_v2. That’s all about cp_manson_event map running, now CHECK OUT THIS!:

HALLOWEEN EVENT – The Haunted Hospital!

“It’s a normal evening in the hospital, few patients are whining because of their pains and children are crying. Few patients have broken ribs but that’s alright, as they’re now in the hospital where doctors will do their best to make everyone happy and healthy again. Everything seem’s to be normal, until doctors hear some weird voices and screaming. Those voices are coming from the morgue. Few Doctors go to check the morgue and what do they see they??!!!

HOLY COW!!!! ZOMBIES!!! ZOMBIES RISING!!!

First they are all so shocked, they can’t move – but after the first seconds of their shock have passed, they run as fast as they can and try to report the situation to the other doctors and nurses… The Hospital is now being evacuated, but the zombies have locked the main doors so there is only one route for the evacuation left: the roof. In panic, the Doctors try to build something gun-like from the syringes and metal – and they succeed: Syringe guns – Right away ready-for-use and to inject the hell out of those god-damn zombies! Now that the doctors have called for help they’ve to wait and keep theirselves alive till the redeeming helicopter arrives – meanwhile the dead patients want to get revenge on those nasty, living doctors who didn’t save them from starving. Dumb as they are, as they are Zombies, they don’t hesitate to kill every doctor in the hospital!”

Will the Doctors survive? You’ll decide it! Come to play the Halloween event with us on October 31th on the UGC server! Either as the escaping doctors, or as the zombies!

We have been franticly searching for ways how to get people to donate and keep the server alive – here is another try!

If you donate atleast 2€, you will automatically join a draw – if you are lucky enough, you can win double the period of administration rights on our server than you’d get according to your donation (2€ = 1 month – in case you win: you’ll get two months of admin rights).

Thus far, I doubt that you guys really know what it means to be admin: you’re the boss. You can change the servermodes (special configs provided by us), you can change cvars via the game console, you can ban/kick/punish other players and enjoy doing other funny things, you can control the plugins running on the server, you can change the maps and play on the map of your choice, you can post admin messages, play funny sounds and even more!

Please donate – we really need the money, otherwise we cannot afford the server anymore.

You’ve got any wishes, ideas, suggestions, problems etc? – Feel free to contact me (bumuckl), xerox or anybody else of the current admins!

UGC Scapegoats – Clan War Tournament

Gather all your friends and join this awesome event! The UGC is hosting its first clan war tournament in its lifetime!

The clans / teams don’t need to be real official ones, you can just collect some friends and build small teams. However, we would be pleased to also see official tf2-clans in the tournament! Each team may have 4 members maximum in battle, keep that in mind! Also regard the fact, that only 8 clans can participate!

The event will start on sunday, in case we’ve got enough participating clans. Otherwise, we’ll wait some more time!

The initial trial: all 6 clans will play randomly against each others, only 3 clans will get to semi-finals and other 3 clans will go to play in elimination serie!

Elimination serie: all 3 clans will fight for semi-final place, only 1 team will get into semi-final!

Semi-final: 4 clans will fight randomly and 2 of winner teams will go to final and another 2 to 3rd place match

Prizes:

FIRST PLACED TEAM will get admin rights for 20 days on UGC server. These days will be shared for all team members so each player in the team will get admin rights on UGC server for 5 days.

SECOND PLACED TEAM will get admin rights for 16 days. Every team member will get admin rights on UGC server for 4 days.

THIRD PLACED TEAM will get admin rights for 12 days. And when it is shared its 3 days per each player!

HeadHunting Competition

Hello Gamers,

you feel just like grabbing your rifle and blow some heads off? Then you’re welcome to join our HeadHunting competition! 16 people who call themselves “skilled snipers” can now apply for participation! Once you’re in, you will fight against the other snipers. The best 3 snipers will be rewarded with admin rights on our server!

First Elimination:
- All 16 competitors will fight against another random participant, the 8 winners will continue.
Second Elimination:
- 8 competitors are left and these competitors will fight each other, 4 of them will continue to the semi-finals
Semi-final:
- 4 competitors are left and now only 2 of them will continue and go to the finals
- the other 2 competitors will go to the 3rd place fight

1st placed: admin rights for 3 days
2nd placed: admin rights for 2 days
3rd placed: admin rights for 1 day

l33t P•1•4•Y•3•2 was so very kind to donate 8€ to the UGC PayPal account. So we can now rent the server one more month (after July 10th). His donation has been rewarded with admin rights on the UGC TF2 Server and Officer rights on our group.
